Safe, Solid And Reliable
Doors and their frames are first and foremost a form of security for the house they are a part of. After this they become the entry point to your home. The aperture through which all of your life flows and travels. One leaves through it with excitement in the morning and returns to its welcoming embrace at the end of the day.
Once on the other side it keeps out the world or allows them in depending on your choice. It is with this ethos in mind that we create every door that leaves our joinery yard. Safe, solid, reliable all words that describe a great door.
Modern timber doors can not only compete on lifespan but also thermal efficiency with today’s less environmentally conscientious door products and we feel that they are the ultimate in affordability and environmentally sound products for making a beautiful home safe and secure.
Longevity & Sustainability
All of our timber doors are built using a Tritus System allowing us to fit WinkHaus Security locks to each door we provide.
This system meets what is called a Part Q regulation for new building regulations. An appropriate and sturdy Door truly makes a lasting impression as one approaches a property and an even longer impression if one cannot simply get past it without the required key.
To further enhance the longevity and sustainability, all the timber we use is FSC sourced, and we predominantly use Accoya High Performance Modified Wood for our doors and frames.
Accoya is a carbon negative timber product whose manufacturer is so confident in its ability that it offers a 50 year guarantee.
Find Out MoreThermal Efficiency
On top of concerning ourselves with the sustainability, security and lifespan of your Doors and their Frames, we also make sure that all our doors can be manufactured to meet the thermal requirements for new build regulations and the glass we use (Where needed) is sourced so locally that we don’t even need it to be delivered, we simply collect it from the unit next door.
Find Out MoreAs a company we are heavily focused on the environment and the safety of our future as well as our staff. We use all our offcuts of timber (where appropriate) to heat our joinery yard and ensure that all waste where applicable is recycled or reused. We have recently installed a new extraction system that has dealt with the age old issue of Joinery Yards being a dusty environment.
This allows our staff to work safely and our products to be produced without contaminants in the air while applying priming and finishing processes. We try our very best to always be achieving a smaller C02 footprint and furthermore this process of minimising waste allows us to offer a finished product at an incredible value to the end consumer while protecting our staff and our environment.
